The big advantage of using an addressable fire alarm system is that it gives you the precise location of the activated smoke detector or manual call point.
The time taken to locate the activated smoke detector or manual call point is reduced greatly in the event of a fire emergency. The exact location of the activated device is displayed on the LCD display on the front of the fire alarms control panel. For example, “Ground floor kitchen” or “ 1st floor , Bedroom No 4”
